Introduction to Chapter 4

Welcome to the engine room: test infrastructure.

So far, we have used AI as a smart conversational assistant. But to scale up to an industrial level, a simple "Chatbot" is no longer enough. We need to integrate AI at the heart of our systems, give it access to our private documents, and allow it to act autonomously.

In this chapter, we will see how to transform a simple AI into a true robust test infrastructure.

This technical chapter is divided into two parts:

  1. Architecture (section 4.1): how to connect AI to our knowledge bases via RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and how to deploy autonomous agents capable of executing complex tasks.
  2. Operations (section 4.2): how to specialize a model via fine-tuning and how to manage the AI lifecycle with LLMOps.
